CSS templates
Administrators can maintain CSS used by supported content previews. Templates help editors see content in an intended style; the consuming website still owns its rendering.
Create or edit a template
- Open CSS Templates and select New template, or edit an existing template.
- Enter Name and CSS.
- Inspect Sample preview.
- Select Save template.
- Open an entry's rich-text editor, choose the template from its CSS template selector, and verify the displayed content.
Use descriptive names such as “Article body.” Keep selectors focused on preview content. Templates do not publish content, change API permissions, or automatically install styles into an external website.
The built-in Default typography template cannot be edited or deleted; create a custom template instead. Confirm Delete CSS template? only when removal of a custom template is intended.
